MyKahani is a safe space for everyone to tell their mental health stories. If you are interested in writing for our blog, here are some general guidelines:

  • Your work should discuss your mental health or mental health in the world around you in some way.

  • We give our authors and artists extensive creative freedom. If you’re curious about specific topics or styles to explore, to date we have received submissions discussing depression & anxiety, self-esteem, eating disorders, and life as a POC/LGBTQ+ person in the form of creative blogs, poems, artwork, and researched articles.

  • We prefer entries to be under 600 words, but multiple submissions are highly encouraged!

  • All of our authors are guaranteed complete anonymity, but you can choose to use your real name if you like.

  • Our only restriction is a zero-tolerance policy against racism, sexism, homophobia, or similar forms of hate speech.
